We just got back from our epic trip to Disneyland and felt the full brunt of Disneyland ticket prices.
The company has taken heat recently for being too aggressive in raising Disney Parks tickets over the last few years, but there is some good news coming for families looking to make their magical trip in early 2024.
Starting October 24, 2023, Disneyland is introducing a limited-time kids’ special ticket offer, making it easier than ever to create cherished memories with your children at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Special Savings for Kids: With the kids’ special ticket offer, you can secure a child’s ticket, exclusively for children aged 3-9, for as low as $50 per child, per day. Yes, you read that right but the phrase “as low as” is doing a lot of work here because actual prices have not been revealed but it could be nearly 50% of current ticket prices.
That’s certainly cause for celebration! This limited time offer is valid from January 8, 2024 through March 10, 2024 but Disneyland has yet to share exactly what the the temporary pricing will be.
A quick look at the Disneyland App (on Oct. 5, 2023) shows prices for kids age 3-9 currently listed at between $104 – $169 based on which day you visit the park. So the discount potential is strong.

Flexibility to Suit Your Plans: The new price point will still allow you the flexibility to choose from 1, 2, or 3-Day Park tickets. We recently used the 3-Day Park ticket option during our September 2023 visit to Disneyland. Once adding on Genie + and paying for Lightning Lane passes for Rise of the Resistance and Radiator Springs rides we paid a sizable amount for our magic.
Even a small discount on kids ticket prices could go a long way.
Mark Your Calendar: If your dates to visit are flexible, then be sure to mark your calendar. These child tickets are valid for use from January 8, 2024, through March 10, 2024 and there are no blockout dates during this period. Please note that ticket availability is subject to park reservations, so make sure to secure your spot as soon as possible.
